Facials

Our skin reflects our overall health. Exercise, good food, enough sleep and good skin care all contribute to it looking good. To give a complete facial, you need to clean your skin, open the pores for deeper cleaning and use a mask to nourish and tighten the skin.

1. Clean your skin. Natural Honey Soap starts the process. Wet your face with warm water. Lather your face and gently massage your face both upward and outward. Rinse well.

2. Steam your face. Leave your face moist. Drop three Tablespoons (3 T) of Cleansing Herbs into a pot of boiling water. Simmer the herbs, covered, for about three (3) minutes. Turn off the heat and with a towel covering your head (tie your hair back or cover with another towel, turban or cap), position yourself about eight inches (8") from the pot and let the steam come straight up to your face for about ten (10) minutes. If it gets too hot, move back. Follow the steaming by gently rinsing your face with warm and the cool water or an astringent to close the pores.

3. Give yourself a facial mask. Mix one Tablespoon (1T) of Revitalizing Facial Mask or Balancing Facial Mask with a small amount of warm water in the palm of your hand until it is the consistency of soft butter. Apply and gently massage the mask upward and outward for about two minutes. Allow to dry. Rinse your face well with warm and then cool water. Pat dry. Finally, using the Healing Cream or the Night Cream will offer nourishment to your skin.

Suggestions for how often to use the products. Clean your skin daily. Apply the cream daily. Steam your skin no more than twice per week. Mask your skin weekly, if you feel it is needed for deep cleaning. The key is to pay attention to what your skin seems to need in the way of cleaning and moisturizing
